  Very professional staff that serves a cheese steak sub so big you need a fork to eat it and tastes so amazing you'll question if Philadelphia is really the birthplace of this delicious sandwich. However I use the term sandwich very loosely when describing this culinary masterpiece for it would be like calling a Lamborghini or a Ferrari just a car.

  Nothing really special. They pride themselves on making everything in house, which is awesome. Except for the things they don't make in house.
  
  Seasoned lettuce is interesting, but really just exactly that: (iceberg) lettuce with seasoning on it. Also traditionally known as salad.
  
  The ham and dumpling soup could have been delicious, but it was lacking in the ham category and was also extremely salty.

  I have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. It's still amazing! I have always preferred their cheese steak subs and salads. They offer a wonderful selection of food and desserts. Service and atmosphere are great. Definitely recommend this gem.

  Good, friendly and prompt service. I was doing contract work in the area (LaVale) and this place was right next door to my hotel. I ate there several times and enjoyed everything I received. The chicken parmesane, the roast beef salad (reg. lettuce with ranch) and spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread were my go to meals. I ate a sub with seasoned lettuce and really enjoyed it too but that is something you eat there and not bring back to the hotel due to the messiness (knife and fork preferred).
